ReplyDeleteYes It is very effective in showing attributes using size and color-coding. Treemap enables users to compare nodes and sub-trees even at varying depth in the tree, and help them spot patterns and exceptions. I remember during college years when we use to use Treemap concepts in JAVA , XML type applications which can help customize any component to fit in a variety of products. This can definitely help visualization concepts at a great par.
